AcidBoxMynah V1.2

This update fixes an issue with how drum kits are loaded. You may already have noticed that most of the supplied kits have silent sample slots, especially towards the end. The legacy AcidBox file system loads sample files in the order they appear, and the number prefixes were purely meant to order samples in the correct order in the folder.

We've added a new kit format alongside the original (to keep compatibility with the jukebox mode and older kits) where the the number prefixes 01_ to 16_ serve expressly to load a sample into a specific sample slot.

We suggest a .wav format of 16bit, 44.1kHz mono. Other types may work, but have not been rigorously tested.

We've added a new kit 3 in the correct format as an example. New instruments will have kit 3 pre-loaded, but download it here if it's not present for you. Unzip and place the folder named 3 in the Kits folder alongside the other kits on the SD inside ACIDBOX/KITS/

This update adds MIDI clock and pattern sync capabilities to allow either the AcidBoxMynah or the original version Mynah to sync to the other.

There's also an new Sweep part (press F7 once to enter) with some preset sweep effects that may prove useful when recording or performing. This part can't be sequenced, put it can be triggered from step buttons A1-B8 or via MIDI.

This update contains a small delay on startup to make sure the power-rail has stabilized. It aims to prevent some weird behavior where the device will only start up when connected to USB power, but after that will run fine on batteries.

There are also a few small but important changes for improved MIDI clock sync:

Bugfix: MIDI clock master Mynah can lag behind slave on start/stop
Bugfix: MIDI sync is lost when the bpm of the master is adjusted

We've just posted a new firmware version to mynah.groovesizer.com (see the Firmware tab).

New features:

Tap tempo. To use, switch to BPM mode with F8+A8. While in BPM mode, continue to hold F8 and tap the desired tempo on A8
Value locking with pickup for Voice Boost and Comp Drive. To prevent sudden jumps in audio level when these values are adjusted, the potentiometer now first has to pass through and below the current value before the value can be adjusted.
Show an edit icon when adjusting per-step parameters. It could be confusing to know whether you are editing a parameter for an individual step or all steps. Now, when holding individual step buttons and adjusting with the potentiometer, or holding F1 and recording automation, an edit icon is shown as a reminder. It also helps to clarify which parameters are automatable and which are not.

Bug fixes:

Sticky Bounce mode. After switching to Bounce mode, it could take multiple presses to exit to another mode.
When adjusting per-step parameters, show the new parameter until F1/F8 is released. Previously, the display would return to showing the per step parameter as the playhead passes over it once the pot locked.
Show parameter values consistently, rather than show alerts with new values for only some modes. There was some inconsistency in how parameter values were displayed with some displaying on the mode page, and some showing an alert with the new value.
