Last week I soldered the Groovesizer RED, and it worked perfectly from first moment 🙂
It took me about 2 hours without housing plates. Everything without problems, just one of the hex spacers needs long time to fit (bad thread).
Maybe it’s easier to solder the LEDs first before soldering the resistor networks, but its manageable.
The Groovesizer RED works very fine with Korg Volca Keys (check MIDI channel if it doesn’t work immediately).
Synth-audio sounds good to me, with a lot more interesting noise and dirt than I thought an Arduino 8-Bit Sound would sound. But clear, beepy sounds are also possible.
So I need more time to play around with this litte thing…
