I’m not sure whether this is a bug, a limitation due to processing power or just a strange design choice but pitch modulation and the detune on oscillator 2 all seem to be linear…
In other words, the tuning is being affected by a fixed number of Hz rather than a musical interval. This has the odd side effect of meaning that vibrato depth increases the deeper you play (because a depth of 5Hz isn’t much at 440Hz, but it’s a lot at 55Hz). Likewise, oscillator 2’s detune seems to add or subtract a fixed amount in Hz from the pitch meaning that if more than a small amount is used then the oscillator no longer follows a musical scale.

This isn’t a request to change it, I’m just curious as to whether it’s deliberate and if so what the reasoning was?

Wow, 3 and a half weeks with nothing? Wish I’d had a Groovesizer when this community was still active…
