    Hello,

When i sync my groovesizer MB to akai rhythm wolf and press the trigger on <i>percussion</i> pad on the wolf, the groovesizer starts to play a random pattern. How can i change it in the code?

here’s the data from akai’s midi chart:
    PERCUSSION

    MIDI Note : 40
    MIDI Channel : 10

I tried to change the midi trigger info in arduino code, but failed to do anything since the only miditrigger command line that I found is about triggering out.

    any solution?

Hey there, Badman – which firmware are you running?

OK, sorry I see the Alpha tag now. You can change the Trigger Out channel on the Preferences Page (the Alpha firmware receives and sends trigger messages on the same channel). Here’s the pertinent bit in the manual

Trigger Out (F5) – With F5 lit, the Groovesizer sends out pattern change messages. When the user changes a pattern in Trigger Mode on this device, any slaved Groovesizers will also change to the corresponding pattern (provided the slave has a pattern stored in that slot). The default MIDI channel for sending and receiving pattern trigger messages is 10. Change this to your desired channel by holding F5 and selecting the channel with Pot 6.

Cool! By the way, how are you enjoying the Rhythm Wolf? The comments I read weren’t too favorable, but it’s fashionable to hate on Akai in forums at the moment. The wolf looked like fun to me.
